Hardman Design Unveils Handmade Chair Collection

We are proud to unveil our new collection of handmade chairs.
This signature range comprises a luxury armchair and matching Ottoman, a contemporary Mid-Century chair pairing a solid wood seat with strong metal legs, and an upholstered dining chair in wool or Spanish leather.
Handcrafted in-house using high-quality, locally-sourced materials, these pieces are every bit as comfortable as they are stylish.
The three chairs extend our portfolio of seating furniture, joining our existing range of dining benches.

Wool Or Leather Armchair And Matching Ottoman

Indulge in comfort and luxury with our stylish armchair. A thing of beauty and a labour of love, the Laica chair is a true work of art and a feat of master craftsmanship.

Handmade from locally-sourced walnut, the sturdy frame has been expertly joined to create the illusion of a single piece, including the gorgeous curves which effortlessly bend around the fabric.

The striking hardwood frame is complemented by a wool or leather seat. The wool variant is an understated but beautiful choice, while the leather armchair is a bold, statement piece.

The wool or Spanish leather armchair is available with or without the matching ottoman.

Contemporary Dining Chair


Combining a solid oak or walnut seat with strong metal legs, the Maya is a contemporary Mid-Century Modern dining room chair.

This streamlined piece is both minimalist and understated, and blends the natural world with an industrial feel for a beautiful juxtaposition.

As comfortable as it is stylish, the Maya can be enjoyed for long durations at a time, courtesy of its delicately-curved backrest and wooden seat which gently slopes from the edges to the centre to create a cone effect.

The Maya complements contemporary dining furniture, but for the perfect combination, pair with any of our metal-legged or wooden tables.
